Appointment of Amir Siddiqui to Camco Petroleum Services, Libya

Edgo is pleased to announce that Amir M. Siddiqui has joined Camco Petroleum Services Inc. as Operations Manager in Libya. Camco is one of Edgo’s technical service companies operations specialising in slickline, cased-hole logging, TCP and wireline perforation, surface well testing, mini DST and electronic memory gauges.

Its scope of services will be expanded further in 2008 to include open-hole logging and multiphase flow meters. Amir joins Camco with over nine years international experience in the oil and gas service sector at both operational and managerial levels as well as six years experience running his own businesses in Canada and Pakistan.

Amir’s previous position was with Weatherford, Middle East North Africa unit (MENA) where he reported to the MENA operations manager and was responsible for the logging operations. Prior to Weatherford, his oil and gas service sector experience included employment with Schlumberger from 1991 to 1999 in various locations throughout Europe and the Middle East in various capacities from Field Engineer to Operations Manager. He holds a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Oklahoma and has also taken a variety of technical and marketing post graduate training courses in the USA, UAE and Pakistan.
