In October Camco teamed up with its partners, TGT, the leading international oil services company, and Baker Hughes to run a workshop at the Radisson Blu hotel in Istanbul, Turkey.
During the four-day event a series of discussions and workshops were organised aimed at informing and training the nine senior engineers, six from the Waha Oil Company and three from the National Oil Company.
The first day of the event included presentations on TGT’s technology where several case histories relating to reservoir problems were discussed. The following days were taken up with presentations on pulsed neutron applications, water saturation and behind casing and practical interpretation of open-hole logs including real case studies from Waha fields.
The feedback from the engineers was overwhelmingly positive, and, following the course, each was presented with course materials and a certificate of participation by the Camco team.
