A senior team from Edgo, including CEO Omar Masri and COO Nidal Karyouti were delighted to attend Baker Hughes’ 24th annual meeting in Florence, Italy.

The meeting’s theme was Energizing Change and looked at the changing world of energy and how the industry must embrace and energize change to propel energy, and industry, towards a more sustainable, efficient and innovative future.

As a channel partner of Baker Hughes, the team were interested to hear how Baker Hughes is harnessing technology to make these changes happen. Among the sessions they attended were the keynote opening speech by Baker Hughes’ CEO Lorenzo Simonelli, as well as panel discussions on energy solutions for a net zero future and the rewards and risks of AI in the energy industry.

The meeting was a valuable opportunity for the team to engage with their counterparts at Baker Hughes and gain valuable insight into their new technology. As part of their commitment to the oil and gas industry in Libya, the team which included Nabil Ezarrug, general manager of Camco Oilfield Services and Issam Hubbi, general manager of ESP Ltd, invited key members of the Libyan oil and gas industry to attend the conference and learn more about how Baker Hughes’ innovation can help the industry reach their targets.
