On 15 January, Edgo’s founder Munib R. Masri was awarded an honorary doctorate by Al-Quds University in Jerusalem, Palestine. The recognition honored his role as a co-founder of the university and his wider contributions to Palestine and the region. The ceremony was attended by dignitaries, community leaders, professors, and students.

Through the Munib & Angela Masri Foundation, He established the Munib R. Masri Library at Al-Quds University, the largest university library in Palestine, and funded the construction of the Munib R. Masri Scientific Research Building.

The Masri Foundation continues to provide financial support and scholarships to students at Al-Quds University.
