Muscat, Oman – Edgo Oman recently entered into a reseller and service agreement with Stabil Drill, becoming its authorized representative in Oman. This collaboration provides local energy operators with direct access to Stabil Drill’s advanced drilling tools and bottom-hole assembly (BHA) components from its more than 30 facilities worldwide, supported by a strong regional service capability. 

Stabil Drill brings over 30 years of experience in manufacturing high-performance drilling tools and BHA components. The company’s fleet, curated in-house and engineered for demanding well environments, exceeds 25,000 rental tools, with a global footprint.  

Under the agreement, Edgo Oman will distribute Stabil Drill’s portfolio in the Sultanate, including Smoothbore™ eccentric reamer, shock and vibration mitigation tools Storm™, stabilizers, and other BHA components. These solutions are designed to address critical drilling challenges such as hole quality, vibration and deviation control, and overall wellbore integrity, key priorities for Oman’s upstream sector.  

By combining Edgo’s local presence and service capability with Stabil Drill’s engineered toolset and rental infrastructure, the partnership aims to accelerate drilling programs, reduce non-productive time, and support sustainable operations across Oman’s oil and gas industry.
