Muscat, Oman – Edgo has joined forces with PetroQuip Energy Services to introduce a new suite of high-performance sand mitigation tools designed for both ESP and SRP applications. 

Through this partnership, Edgo now offers PetroQuip’s innovative portfolio of sand control technologies, including the SandMaze SRP, SandMaze for ESPs, and SandStorm-E tools. These systems are engineered to address one of the most persistent operational challenges in artificial lift applications: sand and debris management. They also enhance overall pump performance and extend equipment life.  

The SandMaze SRP protects sucker rod pumps by capturing fallback sand and debris before it can re-enter the barrel and plunger, maintain efficiency and prevent damage during shut-in periods. The SandMaze for ESPs incorporates a self-cleaning mechanism that retains sand during ESP shutdowns and safely reintroduces it into the flow once operations resume, reducing erosion risk and pump failures. The SandStorm-E tool uses a vortex system to separate solids before they reach the ESP, offering minimal pressure drop and compatibility with various flow rates and tubing weights. 

Tools are available in multiple sizes and material grades, offering flexibility for different well conditions and production environments across Oman’s diverse oilfields. These solutions are particularly relevant in high-sand or mature field operations where pump integrity and flow assurance are critical.
