Gunny Oilfield Services (GOS), an Edgo company, received its ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management certification for a three-year period, valid through 2028. As a key player in Libya’s oil and gas sector, GOS first obtained ISO 9001 certification in 2009 from TÜV Austria. 

Operating in Libya for over three decades, GOS provides a range of technical and operational services to the oil, gas, petrochemical, power, and water industries, with a focus on engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC) services for the oil and gas sector. 

In line with its commitment to the highest standards of operational credibility, GOS transitioned this year to a new certification body, LMS Assessments Limited (LMS), a global leader in Management Systems services, including Quality, Environment, Safety, Information Technology, and Energy Management. 

GOS completed the certification process through the following steps: applying to LMS with its previous ISO certificate, undergoing a document review to ensure compliance continuity, scheduling a surveillance for recertification audit, and completing the final audit. The entire process took four weeks from initiation to certification. 

As GOS continues its support for Libya’s infrastructure, it has proven itself to be a trusted and quality-driven service provider across the region’s most vital industries.
