Solar Turbines and Edgo Host Event in Basra

Edgo was pleased to participate in an event held by Solar Turbines in Basra, Iraq yesterday. The event featured presentations and interactive sessions to discuss the latest advancements in turbo machinery technology and new products offered by Solar Turbines.

Solar Turbines, a subsidiary of Caterpillar Inc., is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of industrial gas turbines. Edgo is Solar Turbines authorized representative in Iraq and yesterday’s event featured a presentation by one of Edgo’s directors, Maher Jadallah, about Edgo’s work in Iraq.

The event was well attended by representative from across Iraq’s oil and gas industry, including the South Oil Co. (SOC), Missan Oil Co. (MOC), South Gas Co. (SGC), Basra Gas Co. (BGC), State Company of Oil Projects (SCOP), West Qurna 2 Operation Division and Zubair Operation Division (Z-FOD).
