Mohammed joined Edgo in Oman in 1992 after having worked in the oil and gas sector in Kuwait. Up until the mid-2000s, Mohammed was involved with the Edgo team in several high profile EPC projects in Oman with companies such as Technip, Bechtel, Samsung and Dywidag; these projects included the $1.1 billion Oman India Fertiliser project , the LNG upstream facilities and LNG tank farms.
Over the years, Mohammed has overseen and developed Edgo Oman’s equipment sales, marketing and service activities with a focus on automation, high tech applications and artificial lift. Mohammed has led the Edgo – GE strategic relationship and was instrumental in the award of ground breaking contracts in Oman including the largest beam pumping contract in the history of GE-Lufkin.
In addition to managing the Group’s operations in Oman , Mohammed supports Edgo’s artificial lift activities in the MENA region.
Mohammed is a graduate in computer science and business administration from Yarmouk University in Jordan.
