Operations and maintenance (O&M)
Edgo’s experience in project implementation allows us to offer quality operations and maintenance services to our clients as part of an integrated service package. These O&M services provide the experienced manpower and cost effective programmes to safely manage the assets of customers which, in turn, allows them to focus on their core business.
Examples of this kind of work include:
- In the late 1970’s Edgo secured the O&M contract for the Saudi Naval Expansion Program’s (SNEP) in a joint venture with Hughes Aircraft, Bendix and Holmes & Narver. Part of the contract involved setting up the Edgo London office to recruit more than 5,000 personnel
- O&M contracts with Shell in Syria in the 1980’s and 1990’s
- A partnership with ESI/Solar Turbines which secured a five-year O&M contract for Occidental Petroleum’s oilfields in Oman upto 1999
- O&M contracts to provide extensive services to the ENI group both in Iran (Darquain) and Libya in 2000/1
