Edgo Extends its Work with vMonitor

Edgo has extended its work with vMonitor, the global technology leader in wireless solutions. After a successful contract with Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), that lasted seven years, vMonitor have been awarded a further five year contract to supply Remote Terminal Units (RTU). The RTUs, wireless connection hubs for wellhead control applications, will be assembled at the Edgo Services Center (ESC Muscat).

Staff at Edgo Oman will be involved in all stages of the production process from design through to testing and training. Edgo has also secured the business of vMonitor Kuwait for the assembly and system integration of 250 RTU units for various wellhead applications.

Following a two day ISO 9001 Audit in March 2013, Edgo Oman has once again received ISO 9001:2008 certification and continue to run a safe and successful operation.
