Edgo Energy has confirmed that it is actively pursuing Exploration and Production opportunities in Africa.

Edgo Energy has signed two production sharing contracts with Kenya’s Ministry of Energy.

The contracts are for exploration blocks L-14 and L-26 in Kenya’s Lamu Basin, which extends offshore along the coast of Kenya. Block L-14 is onshore, close to the largest gas discovery in Kenya and Block L-26 is offshore Kenya’s East coast.

Edgo Energy is now advancing plans to acquire 2D and 3D seismic data in the region, with a view to identifying the drilling prospects.
