Mazen M Masri

Mazen studied civil engineering at the American University of Beirut and received his BSc and MSc in construction management from the University of Southern California (1984 and 1986).
Between 1986 and 1990 he worked in the construction industry including a spell with CCC/ Mannesmann/Saipem consortium in Yemen and the United States. In 1991 Mazen joined Edgo UK in London. He serves on the board of several companies in the oil and gas sector including Reda Free Zone (RFZ) in Egypt, a partnership between Edgo and Schlumberger. RFZ is the leading provider of oil pumping systems in Egypt, Sudan and Syria.
Mazen is a director of Edgo Energy Ltd which is an independent upstream oil and gas company, investing in oil and gas exploration and production assets in the Middle East and Africa. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and is also a trustee of various charities including the Welfare Association UK and MAP. These foundations support the health and educational needs of families in parts of the Middle East. He is also a patron of the Royal British Art Academy.
