Atef H Kreidli
Group regional director, Egypt and Sudan
Atef graduated from Alexandria University with a BSc in geology (1972). He joined Edgo as a site geologist in the mountains of Oman on graduation. In 1980 he became general manager of the largest water well-drilling company in Oman. He held this post until 1989 when he became general manager of Reda Pump Company in Libya. From 1994-2000 he was managing director of Reda Pump Egypt. Following this he became managing director of Minaoil and Oilfield Environmental Service (OES) in Egypt.
Atef is a director of Reda Free Zone (RFZ) in Egypt, a partnership between Edgo and Schlumberger. He also serves as a director of Dindir Petroleum International (DPI), one of the largest drilling and oilfield services companies in Sudan. Atef is also a director of Mid-Air, an airline specialised in logistic transport services to the oilfields.
