The World for Libya charity was set up following the February 17, 2011 uprising in response to the humanitarian crisis throughout the country. The charity’s aim is to support humanitarian relief both directly, as well as through third party charities. Thanks to its unique ability to mobilise local people throughout the country, World for Libya is able to assess the nature of the aid required and assist in providing the logistics for other charities, whether local or international.
