Appointment of Bashar Kanaan as Vice President for Al Ghad Investment

Edgo is pleased to announce the appointment of Bashar Kanaan as Vice President for Al Ghad Investment and Real Estate Development. Bashar is a seasoned professional in the fields of construction and trading. He will be involved directly in construction, real estate development and infrastructure related projects whilst, at the same time, supporting the various Edgo entities.

Bashar joins us from Modern Building Materials Company (MBM), of which he was the founding director. At MBM he was successful in introducing quality European products to the Jordanian market. Previously he had held the position of General Manager of the publicly traded Mediterranean Tourism and Investment Company, acting as Client Representative, where he managed international consultants, contractors and suppliers in the execution and delivery of the prestigious Four Seasons Hotel in Amman. Prior to this, Bashar established, KEO, one of the first engineering consultancy offices in Jordan which had a significant influence on the construction management industry. Bashar started his professional career in Kuwait, working on large construction projects, eventually assuming the role of project manager for several of them.

Bashar holds an MEA degree in Engineering Administration from the George Washington University in Washington DC and a BSc in Civil Engineering from Kuwait University.
